Job Description:
Perform functions related to Information Security and ensure compliance with company policy and best practices across all business units. Works under supervision to implement and asses security, procedures and practices for IT infrastructure, information, and internet/intranet connectivity throughout the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, implement and monitor security measures, policies and policy compliance, methods and procedures to safeguard the integrity of and access to the enterprise systems.
• Periodically contract for external security audits and respond to audit findings.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Create the Incident Response Team and develop Incident Response policy and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for adoption of new security technologies or policies.
• Recognize and identify areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change or further development.
• Perform responsibilities in conformance with established standards, while maintaining a high level of user trust and confidence to ensure seamless IT functioning for internal and external users.
• Ensure that goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
• Develop strong, positive working relationships within IT and external to IT.
• Promote Information Security as an integral part of IT architecture.
• Provide guidance to others as applicable.
• Develop and release security metrics and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• 5 -7 Years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in an IT Security role.
• General knowledge of IT Infrastructure: data center, voice and data, networks, LAN and WAN connections, storage, servers (Windows), end points (PCs, Smartphones), mobile devices, wireless handhelds.
• Independent decision making ability and overall project coordination skills.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong process and procedures background and have sufficient knowledge of the processes required to support the business goals.

Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in computer field or equivalent experience
• The following certifications are desirable:
o CISSP, GIAC, CEH
• Experience with: firewall rules, intrusion detection/monitoring, IPS/IDS, configuring secure wireless, web filtering, SPAM filtering, securing network infrastructure.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in an office environment.
• Ability to move, lift and maintain security devices such as firewalls, switches, routers.
Other Requirements:
• This position will require occasional travel to US and international locations. Travel may be on the order of 10% of working time.
• Job responsibilities include periodic evening and weekend work.
