Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for all employees at the distribution center. Will need to work with the Inbound and Operations Support Supervisor’s at the Distribution Center to maintain a constant and efficient flow of fruit and administrative services from the time fruit is received to loading and completing the required paperwork and having the fruit in route. Actively supports employees in job growth and provides leadership when asked by these same employees. Works in creating process improvement solutions to optimize productivity, efficiency, while maintaining accurate data entry into the system. Provides the leadership necessary to facilitate process improvements and is able to execute through others. Exhibits the company values and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements set forth by the Logistics Manager. Will be responsible for maintaining an up to date Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Quick Reference book for their employees to review when needed. Must be knowledgeable of Good Manufacturing Practices. Will be asked from time to time to contribute ideas on resolving issues and is expected to provide constructive feedback.

Job Qualifications: Must be highly motivated and computer literate with an understanding of both software and hardware. Superior analytical skills. Posses a thorough understanding of inbound and outbound operations. Aptitude to conduct interpersonal interactions, exchange information, persuade, problem solve, and work effectively under pressure. Posses advanced personal computer skills in the use of Windows, Word and Excel. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communications and basic math skills. Able to read reports and quickly pass down any information needed. Must be flexible with work schedule, able to work overtime and weekends, travel frequently, and possess a valid driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish useful.






Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining distribution center up to standard Good Manufacturing Practices (housekeeping)

• Maintaining a constant product flow from cooling tunnels to loading of fruit
-Meeting Scheduled Appointments
• Pass Internal Audits
• Removal of fruit from pre-cool tunnels with correct temperature
• Placement of fruit on racks
• Supervision of Tectrol machine
• Export
• Fumigation
• Shipment or Receipt of Transfers from DC to DC
• Consolidation of fruit to build up order(s)
• Review reports once a week with employees
• Proper delegation of breaks and lunches
• Supervision of the following personnel:
-Export Coordinator
-Warehouse Floor Coordinator
-Loading Coordinator
-Outbound Forklift Drivers
-Warehouse Floor Help
- Shipping Clerks
• Disciplinary reviews
• Other duties as assigned
• Proper usage of shipping materials
• Communicates and works with other Supervisors
