JOB SUMMARY: Supports the Vice President of Driscoll’s Northern Supply and Operations Group including Strawberry, Rubus and Blueberry Production Managers, Product Quality Manager, and Extension Specialists. Responsible for administrative and clerical tasks, report generation and analysis, budget review, event planning and assigned projects. Exercises discretion and tact in a high-energy work environment, often dealing with confidential material and information. Organizes events, schedules, documents, materials and resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Prepare and produce letters, memos, proposals, presentations and reports, and other documents as necessary. Plan and coordinate Supply and Operations Group and Grower meetings (on-site and off-site), including preparation and distribution of agendas. Maintain calendar and schedule for VP and Management team. Organizes documents, files, materials and resources. Coordinate and communicate travel and lodging arrangements using external vendors. Participate in the monitoring of accounting reports such as the operating budget report. Process expense reports, check requests, credit card vouchers, purchase orders, mail, correspondence and order office supplies. Ensure the security of Driscoll’s confidential and proprietary information and materials. Maintain a safe and professional appearing work area.
REPORT RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with appropriate Departments in Driscoll’s and its Growers to extract raw data from a variety of sources. Independently research and obtain information in order to create or run daily, weekly and monthly reports.
COMMUNICATION: Interface/coordinate with other departments and growers. Communicate knowledge of company policy and department practices and communicate with new and existing employees/ growers. Represent Driscoll’s in an ethical and business like manner in all interactions. Act as Coordinator of assigned Production/Business Group projects, following up on details and coordinating activities so that deadlines are met. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Three to five years executive administrative experience required. College degree preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary. English/Spanish communication skill preferred. Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office Suite applications required. Analytical and strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task while working independently, are necessary. Must be able to set and meet deadlines. Some travel required for events, trade shows, business meetings, and training. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and maintain eligibility for company vehicle insurance.
