JOB SUMMARY:

Supports National Production Business Group in overseeing the business operations of our production by capturing and summarizing all efforts related to production data. Uses business and organizational skills to assist in systems maintenance; including gathering and maintaining production and nursery data. Will use GPS knowledge of mapping and information management to help lead and assist regions in successfully mapping ranches. Position requires up to 20% business travel.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Microsoft Office proficiency, Excel advanced level, database expertise, experience using GPS devices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to train coworkers successfully in a variety of geographic locations in software applications and technical devices. Analytical skills and accuracy are extremely important in this position. Bi-lingual, biliterate (English/Spanish) communication skills strongly preferred. Must maintain valid California driver’s license and eligibility for Company vehicle insurance policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1.) Ranch Mapping. Candidate will assist regional team in the execution of mapping ranches by GPS. They will help in the creation of the plan and monitor compliance and deadlines. Will assist in the management of data integrity in the database of ranch information. Will help create maps in mapping software. Will need to train regional staff when necessary on GPS devices and the process of execution.

2.) Nursery Plant Management. Will be responsible for entering all plant orders into database. Need to manage and follow through that deadlines are met from external sources. Calculate and enter plant billings in system.

3.) Ranch System Maintenance. Will be responsible for assigning and creating all ranch numbers. Owns the transaction system set up and maintenance of ranches and ranch attributes. Need to be able to facilitate questions from multiple departments and explain the logic of the ranch process.

4.) Data Capture. Will assist the National Production group in capturing production data necessary for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Data may come from multiple sources and will need to be able to verify integrity of data being used. May need to prepare data in presentable formats- reports, PowerPoint, etc.

5.) Ensures effective collaboration and communication with all other internal customers for greater efficiencies and attainment of DSA’s strategic plan.

6.) Nurtures, supports, and promotes the Company Mission and Values.

7.) Follows Company policies and practices while representing Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with employees, government agencies, growers, customers, etc.

8.) Other. Performs other duties as instructed by the National Production Business Manager.
